Seth Kirschbaum

Seth Kirschbaum is a partner with over twenty years of experience in trial litigation, defending medical professionals and hospitals against claims of malpractice throughout New York State including every borough of New York City.

Prior to entering private practice, Seth was appointed an Assistant Corporation Counsel for The City of New York where he successfully defended City hospitals and physicians in all types of medical malpractice claims. While working for the City, he also tried personal injury cases throughout the five boroughs involving issues of premises liability, motor vehicle accident, and false arrest.

Upon leaving the Corporation Counsel’s Office, Seth worked at an established law firm in Manhattan where he specialized in nursing home litigation and the intricate state and federal laws and regulations applicable to nursing homes.

Prior to joining the firm, Seth was a partner at a prominent Long Island based medical malpractice firm where his practice concentrated on complex medical malpractice cases where he defended physicians, hospitals, dentists and nursing homes from inception through trial. Seth also defends physicians and dentists charged with professional misconduct before the Office of Professional Medical Conduct and the Office of Professional Discipline. Seth has special expertise in cases involving allegations of transmission of infectious disease in medical and dental settings.
