Robert Castillo is an accomplished litigator and trial attorney with over 10 years of experience in defending medical providers and institutions, criminal prosecution, product liability defense, and trusts and estates litigation. He utilizes his experience in various areas of the law as well as trial to develop creative strategies in complex litigation to help position his clients for the most favorable outcome. Throughout his career in the medical malpractice arena, Robert has vigorously defended his clients in high exposure claims from inception through trial, including trying cases through verdict. Robert’s legal career began as a criminal prosecutor with the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office where he tried over a dozen cases to verdict in a 3-year-span after which he joined the private sector. Prior to joining the firm, he earned the position of partner at a reputable medical malpractice defense firms where he successfully tried cases to verdict, including leg amputation, bowel perforation, and other challenging matters.
Robert is a graduate of Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and received his bachelor’s degree from University of California, Santa Barbara. He is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York and previously admitted in State and Federal Courts of California.
