Regina Sagesser

Regina Sagesser (Partner) is an accomplished attorney whose practice focuses on the defense of General Liability and Medical Malpractice matters. Regina began her legal career in 1999 with the New York City Law Department’s Office of the Corporation Counsel in the Queens Torts Division. As an Assistant Corporation Counsel, Regina was responsible for defending the City of New York and its many administrative agencies in tort actions involving premises liability, negligent supervision, false arrest/imprisonment, highway design, Labor Law §240 and §241, motor vehicle accidents and property damage from inception through trial.

Upon leaving the Office of the Corporation Counsel, Regina continued to concentrate her practice on general liability defense while also expanding her area of legal expertise to the representation of medical professionals in complex medical malpractice claims. Throughout her years of practice, she has helped to successfully resolve, through motion practice, skilled settlement negotiations or trial, numerous potentially high exposure matters for her clients.
