Matthew Nealon

Matthew Nealon is an associate at Rubin Paterniti Gonzalez Rizzo Kaufman, where he focuses on medical malpractice defense. His past areas of practice have involved criminal defense, commercial and business torts, intellectual property and corporate transactions, often from inception to trial or settlement, or through the conclusion of regulatory investigation.

Before coming to RPGRK, Mr. Nealon most recently worked for several years for the Law Department of the City of New York, in its Administrative Law and Regulatory Litigation division, on complex matters, generally brought in the federal courts. He thereafter worked for a private practice defending City-affiliated transit authorities in suits alleging serious injuries caused during provision of public transportation.

Mr. Nealon was born and raised in New York. He graduated from the Rockefeller College of Public Policy at SUNY Albany, and from Rutgers University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in New York State and in the federal courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
