Jonathan joined Rubin Paterniti Gonzalez Rizzo Kaufman LLP in 2021 as an Associate in the firm’s New York City office, where he concentrates his practice on professional and general negligence matters. Jonathan has extensive and broad experience representing healthcare professionals in all matter and stages of litigation.

Before joining the Firm, Jonathan spent nearly six years with the NYC Health + Hospitals Corporation where represented municipal hospitals, physicians, and medical providers in medical malpractice litigation. He was responsible for investigating claims and suits through record and document review, interviews, and expert conferences, drafting reports, motions and conducting 50-h examinations, preparation of pleadings, all faces of discovery, take and defend depositions, participate in settlement negotiations and conduct trial strategy conferences and jury trials and appeals. Preceding the NYC Health + Hospitals service, Jonathan was a Senior Associate at two other well-regarded professional malpractice firms for nearly five where he represented healthcare professionals in medical malpractice matters.

Jonathan is a 2007 graduate of Rutgers University School of Law, where he served as editor of Race and Law Review, was a Teaching Assistant in Legal Research and Writing, and received a number of other accolades. Following law school, Jonathan served as a confidential law clerk for the Honorable Frederic S. Kessler, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Union Vicinage. Jonathan received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Rochester in 2003.
