Heather S. Siegel

Heather S. Siegel is a Partner in the firm’s Long Island office. Heather’s entire law career over more than the past 20 years has been devoted to defending physicians, hospitals, and facilities in complex high exposure medical malpractice actions. Heather’s meticulous attention to detail has proven success in her cases with a special interest in matters with claims of obstetrical and neonatal management and hospital malpractice cases. Heather’s compassion and perseverance for her clients has effectively established relationships that have guided her clients to successive conclusion of their cases. Heather has expertise in defending hospitals and physicians in a variety of other areas of specialty involving orthopedics, hospital care, maternal fetal medicine, plastic surgery, pediatrics, and gynecological and oncological surgery. Heather has successfully obtained many favorable outcomes for her clients on motions for summary judgment and during all phases of medical malpractice litigation through trial preparations.

Heather received her law degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 1998 and her B.A. from Hofstra University, cum laude, in 1994, with a focus in Psychology and an interest in Business Law. She is admitted to practice before the New York State Courts and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. Heather is a member of the New York State Medical Malpractice Defense Bar Association.
